Project Life 2014 | Week 31

Week 31 | July 27, 2014 – August 2, 2014 - Vacation Week.

It’s so hard to know what to do with Project Life once vacation hits.  Last year I printed two 12×12 photos and then made collages. I contemplated doing that again. I also thought about making a separate digital book, like I did last year. But when it came down to it – I decided I was just going to print my favorite photos from the trip and get them all in there in an easy, no fluff method.

I printed 69 4×4 photos (iPhone photos) and 130 4×6 photos (Canon 60D photos).  There are a handful of photos I didn’t end up using, because I thought they were repetitive or they just didn’t fit. I used Becky Higgins  Design A  page protectors to start and end the week (like I always do) and filled in the middle with We R Memory Keepers 12 x 12 inch (9 – 4 x 4 inch pockets).  I trimmed my 4×6 photos to fit into the 4×4 pockets.   I didn’t use any embellishing.  Just one 4×6 card trimmed to 4×4 on each of the pages for journaling.  I should also point out that I started a new binder with this week. This is number 3 binder for this year!

And I am going to call our trip to the lake 2014 done and documented! Nothing fancy but done!

    • I print my iphone using the Printicular app on my iPhone – use the code MEAM at checkout and get 30% off your order!  Awesome! Thank you Printicular!
    • I used the Walgreens app on my iPhone to print the 4×6 photos (they had a great deal going on!)

Your layouts were a joy to look at! They were so clean and simple! This was a great reminder to me that the pictures are really the star of the show…not all of the embellishments that I kill myself to try to include! Loved this!!
