When you have young kids, Valentine’s Day kinda takes over the whole week. There is the buying of the Valentine’s, and making the Valentine’s, and making treats for Valentine’s parties and then the parties!

I noticed I wasn’t even searching for a lot of Valentine embellishments for my spread because the pictures and inserts did a lot of the work in terms of hearts and red/pink colors. Of course the Studio Calico February Project Life kit had lots of cards perfect for Valentines Day!

I included the love notes I left for Dimitri and the kids. One big heart and then 10 little hearts listing off 10 things I love about each of them.

  2. Tracy O says:

great week! I always love the holiday weeks with all the color…valentines week is one of my fav (even though I don’t care much for the day itself)….never seems to be a shortage of pics or materials with kids. thanks for the inspiration (as I still have that week to do!)

  3. Sue says:

What an awesome week. I totally miss the whole Valentine’s thing – this year was the first time my youngest did not want to hand out cards or treats. No class party either. Sigh!

  4. laurab says:

so love your pages and especially how you were able to use so much of the SC PL kit. My valentines week turned into a non event as my husband and i both traveled but apart :(

  5. Merrick says:

    Love the 10 things inserts!

  6. Kimberly says:

Great pages! Lots of Valentine’s Day goodness going on there! I love the 10 things idea. I’ll have to file that away and use it sometime.

  7. Cerise says:

Love it. We had a little party for Valentine’s, but we didn’t give out cards. Can’t wait until they are old enough to really enjoy that. The 10 things are so wonderful. I’ll have to remember that for next year…or birthdays.

  8. Emily says:

I LOVE all of your inserts! What a great way to remember all of those special cards – and I know your kids will treasure your heart notes to them for years to come :)

  9. senoritascrapper says:

Love how you used the kids’ crafts. I did the same thing.

  10. This is AWESOME. Just at a glance I can totally see what your life is like now, and all the little kid “goodness” that comes with it. (I have two young ones myself.) These pages are such a great example of why we all love this project so much! Look forward to seeing more :)
