Valentine’s Week! I hope that you had a wonderful Valentine’s Day! Having little kids means Valentine’s Day is a big deal. We had Valentine’s to make, treats to get ready for school, and doing a little bit of something for each of the kiddos to show them how special they are to us. Yup – this week has seemed to be all about Valentine’s!
Here is a little end of the week Photo Dump:
Owen showing off his new 3D glasses he got with a 3D book.
Decorating Owen’s Valentine bag for school turned into a family art event:
Dimitri and I had a little lunch date this week. We walked around the downtown skywalk system. Nothing says romance like the skywalk system!
Happy Mail! My February Project Life kit from Studio Calico! I can’t wait to dig into it this weekend!
The boys actually did their own Valentine’s this year! In previous years they have filled out one or two and left the rest for me. I was happy to see them get into it this year. Don’t get me wrong…they like getting Valentine’s, but we were working on the idea that it is also fun to GIVE Valentine’s.
(I also laugh that this picture and the very first picture above, there is evidence of our painting project in the background – in this case a tote of painting supplies. Just proof that this project is taking over large portions of our house! Real life!)
We decorated each of the kid’s doors with hearts and 10 things we love about them.
Cupcakes for Owen’s class:
I took the afternoon off work yesterday to help in Owen’s class for his Valentine’s Day party. Of course I had to pop my head into Ethan’s class too. And I actually left my iPhone in my pocket and pulled out the big camera for the event.
All the Valentine’s bags lined up:
Valentine Bingo was intense.
Kindergartners are funny.
Owen was very excited to have me in his classroom for an hour.
And in Ethan’s class:
There was also Valentine Bingo!
And he wanted a picture with his BFF.
And that is just a few pictures from this week! We are going to be finishing up our painting project this weekend. It’s will be good to have it all done!
I hope you have a good weekend!

Great post! Triggered a few memories on how big a deal V-day was to me too! Didn’t realized how “serious” Valentine Bingo is though, lol. Loved the 10 things idea too! TFS!
Great pictures – it looks like a phantastic week!
Great shots, love the 10 things you love about the kids on their doors
