It’s been odd week starting back to work on Wednesday. I feel like I don’t know what day it is! But I will take the short week and already looking forward to the weekend. The Christmas decorations are all put away and I am enjoying the clean surfaces and feeling of openness around the house. My boys have already asked me what holiday is next! Oh my!

We spent the first day of the year in our pjs hanging out at home. We had a lot of cleaning to do from our NYE party and I got all Christmas decorations put away. But there was also time for snuggling.
I mentioned in my Goals yesterday that I wanted to remove the wallpaper in my entry way/dining room. Here is a look at it:

Actually we have been having some challenging times with Zooey the last few weeks. She does NOT want to go to bed or stay in her bed. We are also seeing more tantrums and overall drama. This night she didn’t want to sit in her chair at dinner, she wanted to sit in my lap, but she didn’t want me to eat. I put her down to get some space from her and she threw a huge tantrum, but then during her tantrum she starts yelling at me “I LOVE YOU, I LOVE YOU, I LOVE YOU”! To say the least she ended up back into my lap, stinker.
Yia Yia and Pappou came over to visit last night. You can see the boys are still really into their Nintendo 3DS
During the Holiday break I cleaned and organized the kid’s toy room! The toy room needs a makeover at some point. But at least now it is organized. I felt so much better getting this done.
I also tackled my scrapbook space… look how bad it was!

So not too many pictures to share from this short week. I am just trying to get back into the groove of life after the Holidays. I am hoping to dive back into my PL and to at least share week 50 on Tuesday, so check back for that.

Your week sounds a lot like ours. I hear you on the Christmas decorations… I couldn’t get them down fast enough this year. Don’t get me wrong, I love them, but it I needed my space. With a family of five I can’t help but feel like the walls are closing in sometimes. You have a beautiful family…
