Friday Photo Dump

Sickness has returned to the Bostinelos house. Zooey had a case of the throw-ups on Monday night which landed her in the care of her Grandma and Yia Yia (+ Pappou!) on Tuesday (instead of daycare). Although we were glad that the throwing up was shorted lived – cleaning up puke is never fun.  Then on Tuesday, Dimitri started to feel sick, not throw-up sick, but body ache, headache, chest congestion sick. By Wednesday morning he was running a 101 fever that was still lingering last night. Yup – influenza.  I feel so bad for him, because having the flu is never fun. And he got the flu despite getting the flu shoot. At this point I am holding my breath hoping the rest of us don’t come down with this nasty virus.  ’Tis the season, right? Boo!

But despite the sickness, I think we got some smiles in here and there this week.  And our Elf on the Shelf, Snowball, has been super busy.

Owen had a homework assignment where he had to practice getting all his winter gear on by himself in 3 min or less.

The kid rocks. He was all suited up in no time! Isn’t that Spiderman ski-mask kinda freaky?? He loves it!

This is when Dimitri started to go downhill. We didn’t realize he had the flu at the time.

And Wednesday he is down for the count. At least he had Emma the cat to keep him company.

We are having to switch our weekend plans. Dimitri and I were planning on getting away this weekend and we had to cancel due to his sickness. So I think we are just going to be hanging out at home and trying to get him better. I have some Christmas wrapping to do and plan on catching up on my Project Life. Exciting stuff, right?
