Bits and Pieces | Christmas

Just a few more pictures of our house decorated during this time of the year.

Notes:

• After Christmas I really want to remove that orange-sponge-looking-paint wallpaper from my entryway and dinning room.  And give everything a fresh coat of paint. Something neutral.  This is the way we found the house when we moved in 8 years ago and I am ready for something new.  It’s a big project…that yellow paint continues through our entry way, living room, dining room and hallway to the bedrooms. The wallpaper is contained to two locations…but removing wallpaper – ug! Maybe 2013 is the year to tackle it. 
• Our big chalkboard in the kitchen is at kid level. Sometimes I try to be creative and write something fancy or pretty (like you see on pinterest) but seconds later the kids will come in and either erase it or draw on it. I give up.   But I did put it at their level so what should I expect, right?
• It snowed here last night.
